...and cognitive can be revealingly graphic, as Juan Enriquez
demonstrates tonight at the Mission Bay Conference Center with his
glorious collection of historic maps of discovery:

"Mapping the Frontier of Knowledge," Juan Enriquez, UCSF Mission Bay
Conference Center, San Francisco, 7pm, TONIGHT, October 12. The
lecture starts promptly at 7:30pm. Admission is free (a $10 donation
   is always welcome, not required).

PLEASE NOTE: The presentation is at the Robertson Auditorium at
[1]UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center, 1675 Owens St., San Francisco.
Map [2]here. It's just off of 16th St., near 3rd St. Parking is
handy in the adjoining garage; do take along your parking ticket to
get it validated for the $5 rate. Come early for dinner, if you like,
at the pub near the lecture hall. The New light rail T line runs past
UCSF Mission Bay. [3]Here's a link for it.

This is one of a monthly series of Seminars About Long-term Thinking
