Thanks! The complainers are somewhat correct, I had to rush the
move due to lack of time, so the information has been late and
somewhat haphazard.
I would have ordinarily tried to get the digest mode folks
ported over as well, but I no longer have the time for nightly
sessions. Again, tell me, and I'll set up to digest in nick of
time.

Many things. Yahoogroups acts as a spam conduit, yet it suspends people
for bounces (when they bounce the spam Yahoogroups sends them) with a
ridiculously low threshold. It adds ads -- not just in the archives,
in each post message. It breaks digital signatures. It traps group
archives in a proprietary interface, which even yahoogroups2mbox can't
get out reliably (I have a complete archive, yet most of it is corrupt,
so I have to redo it all again, in increments <500 messages). The
interface sucks. Etc.
The only advantage of Yahoogroups is that signon to many groups is easy.
