Just for kicks....
What you do is build a miniature pipe that has a small compressor vane set inside it, which when activated levers itself into the closed cell and fills it if the light polarity that powers it is the correct, reverse the polarization and it deflates and levers itself back out, you need one of these for each cell and a set of polarization filters to turn on/off the process.
The macro template of cells gives you the item, you need, sunlight gives you the power plant. "grow your own furniture kit".
