Google 3D WarehouseTM Integration – Dynamically download and place
SketchUp and Google 3D Warehouse products directly into View22's 3D
Web application. Customize and transform 3D models downloaded from
Google's 3D Warehouse using View22's resizing, texturing and object
behavior tools.

It's, as far as i know, maybe the first example of why google 3D
warehouse can be a big 3D material repository; yet, i wish to know how
they did it, if there's an API.
Talking sketchup, a friend showed me recently the pro version that can
import/export to/from google 3D warehouse, and export to OBJ. As
croquet experiments are not commercial (are they?), maybe you folks
could use these features to have easy and free content. Just need one
sketchup owner... Maybe ask google a donation :)
Sorry for my futile babbling.
Florent
